Training Solutions

I have developed three seminars that meet most of the needs
of most of my clients. Of course, I also develop special topics
or perform more general consulting, but for most clients,
looking at these three courses is a great place to start.

I have provided a lot of information about the courses and the
topics I cover for each of these seminars: just click on the
links in the course titles below to get more detailed information
about the topics covered in each seminar. You may also want
to look at my discussion of What Will It Cost? below, on this page

Tax Return Analysis: Cash Flow & Beyond
This is the course for private bankers and credit analysts who
need the fundamentals. It focuses on the information to be
gleaned from individual tax returns of borrowers and guarantors,
and what those returns are "hiding" in terms of reliable cash flow
to support future debt repayments. This course is available both
as a live seminar and in an e.learning format.

Business Tax Return Analysis: A Banker's Perspective

This seminar shows bank staff how to use business tax returns
as a source of cash flow information…one that is often more
dependable than the business's financial statements. I walk
through the various types of business entity, along with the
accounting and cash flow implications of each entity type.

Estate Planning Issues for the High Net Worth Client:
A Private Banker's Approach

Many of your wealthy customers are at a point in life where
estate planning issues can be a major consideration in their
financial dealings. Understanding their concerns, and the
techniques accountants use to address them, will help your
bankers be more responsive to these customers, at the same
time they extract a more accurate financial picture. This is a
more advanced course.

What Will It Cost?
My fees for delivering any of the above courses are generated
by: A per-participant seminar fee of $595 for live seminars,
and $750/participant for e.learning. One-time customization fees
(no matter how many times I repeat the seminar for you) for
incorporating your terminology, forms, processes, and cash
flow model into my course material. These fees vary depending
on the extent of the customization you desire, as well as
time frames. My travel expenses, for live delivery. One way
to get a better understanding of how participant numbers,
delivery options, and customization fees total up for particular
situations is to review the pricing examples of some typical
configurations
that other banks have found to meet their needs.

Minimum Enrollment
Please Note that there is a 20 participant minimum fee for
live delivery. In other words, even if you enroll only 15
participants in one of my two-day live seminars, the participant
fees will be calculated as if there were 20 people in the course.

There is no minimum enrollment for e.learning delivery.
